It’s only one and a half hours away on aqualuna to the tiny outlying island of Cheung Chau from Victoria Harbour, you are able to experience the unique and traditional annual Bun Festival. This week-long celebration includes a fantastic Piu-sik (Floating Colours) Parade of children dressed up as mythological Chinese characters, with other lively performances as well as a tower scrambling competition where contestants clamber up bun laden towers, trying to grab the luckiest buns right at the top, at around 12 midnight.

This amazing festival attracts thousands upon thousands of locals and overseas tourists every year, getting its name from the huge towers of ‘lucky’ buns on the island, a feature attraction on this cheerful day out. Lunch will be served onboard and guests dropped off at 1:30pm to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Although this voyage is a one-way trip, guests are able to take local ferry back to Hong Kong and Kowloon at leisure, as the festivities run into the evening.

這個傳統節日因島上的特色景點——巨大的幸運“包山”而得名，每年都吸引了成千上萬的香港市民及遊客慕名前來。船上將會供應午餐，並於下午1:30分到達長洲，遊客們可以盡情享受下午的美好時光。雖然此航程為單程行程，但隨著慶祝活動持續至晚上，遊客們仍可以自由選擇搭乘當地渡輪返回香港市區和九龍。
